MicroStrategy prepares a suite of enterprise products based on LN
Saylor says Lightning is the most compelling technology in the field at the moment
Company aims to integrate network to make cryptocurrencies more accessible
The Baltic Honeybadger bitcoin conference concluded yesterday, 4 September, in Riga. MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor was among the speakers. During his speech, he said that the company is considering integrating Lightning Network.

According to Saylor, MC is working on enterprise network-based solutions for large firms. According to the CEO, the use of Lightning Network will make bitcoin more accessible.

At the same time, the CEO noted that the LN has become “the most important thing in the world of technology at the moment”. MC aims to provide a tool that will make it as easy and fast as possible for large counterparties to realise the benefits of the network.

“We are currently working on several projects. It’s a corporate wallet, servers, an authentication mechanism. And it’s all based on Lightning,” Saylor noted during the conference.

According to the businessman, the network has several advantages. One of them is the ability to use more aggressive development options and high-risk features without everyone’s consent.

For now, the MC initiative is at an early stage. However, the company is already preparing the ground for the release of a Lightning-based corporate crypto wallet. The app is expected to reach an audience of 10 million people.

Despite the company’s enormous losses as a result of the bitcoin devaluation, Saylor still believes in cryptocurrency. And although he has stepped down as CEO, he is still actively involved in the firm.
