PancakeSwap could make money on the Aptos network
Such a proposal has been put to a vote by the administration
If the initiative is approved, deployment will take place in Q4 2022
Today, on October 20, PancakeSwap decentralized protocol team put forward the proposal about deployment in the Aptos core network. The vote on this will take place from 21 to 23 October.
According to the text of the proposal, the team plans to deploy the four core features of the protocol – Swap, Farm, Pools and IFO – on Aptos. The integration will also introduce a native $CAKE token to the network.
PancakeSwap is a decentralised exchange based on BNB Chain. In the summer when Binance invested in the protocol, the site even claimed to be the largest in its segment.
The move to Aptos brings a number of advantages for DEX users. These include fast and cheap transactions, as well as access to an evolving ecosystem with many projects and crypto products.
The full proposal can be read here. The vote will take place from 21 to 23 October. If a quorum approves, the protocol will roll out to Aptos as early as the fourth quarter. At the time of writing, no one has yet taken part in the vote.
